Greenland Fruit Emotions Shower Gel in Grapefruit-Ginger* (£11.95) - Greenland Online

Recently, I was given the opportunity to review something from Grapefruit & Ginger range of products from Greenland Fruit Emotions. Now, this range contains a shower gel which I was kindly sent, a massage oil, hand cream, salt scrub and a body butter. First things first, let's just say that this scent is so perfect for the morning, it's unreal. Firstly you get the ginger, and it kindly smacks you in the face just enough to wake you up and give you a howdy doodee. Secondly, you get the grapefruit, which isn't as strong as the ginger but it keeps you going in a lovely, comforting way. It lathers up very well, and you don't need a lot of product at all. The scent lingers for a good while on the skin, just what you expect really. You also get a lot of product, 600ml to be exact but I am NOT a fan of the packaging. It looks clinical, feels clinical and it isn't at all practical for the shower. If I drop the lid one more time there will be a lid shape hole in my bathroom window. For the cons it does have (packaging, price...) there are a good few pros as well. The scent and fact it has no parabens or artificial colourants is always a good thing but when I can pop to Boots and buy a Soap & Glory shower gel for half the price, I don't think I can actually justify the price.

What do you think, £11.95 a bit too much?

That is quite expensive, but I do like to have a few shower gels that are a little more luxurious. I like the sound of this one - I bet it smells so fruity & fresh

  2. The only pro about the price is that you do get an extra 100ml than the other big ones like S&G. I am really enjoying using it!

  3. Eeeep that is a bit pricey, but the good quality, free from nasties products usually are :( I think so many more people would be inclined to use paraben free products, if they weren't so expensive :( it sounds like such a lovely product though!! xx

  4. You're totally right. It shouldn't be so expensive to use products that are so much better for your skin :( xx
